This is a Swamp/freshwater Paperbark that is endemic to southern Western Australia where I live. Species name is Melaleuca Raphiophylla. I started this from tubestock purchased from a local garden nursery that specialises in native plants.
These are fun to grow and develop pretty quickly with a... A year ago I collected a root sucker from a Melaleuca. Not sure what type of Melaleuca. It grew quite well and I need to upgrade its pot so it continues to grow larger and thickens.
