Any other things I should be checking at this point to identify what's going on and causing the 5VDC to drop so much? I am buying a Stern Dracula and the MPU has battery corrosion.
mpu advertising, I read somewhere that the Bally and Stern MPU's are compatible, but I can not find that info to verify. The pin has a Stern -100 board in it now. What I have on hand is a Bally -17 and -35 and Stern -200. Can I use a Bally -17 or -35 in place of the Stern -100? I'm pretty sure that I can substitute the Stern -200 for the -100.
mpu advertising, My first FPGA MPU where I'm using a Cyclone IV board is for GottFA80/GotFA80_PLuS in case you want to use it with 'late' 80B games ( Excalibur, Hot Shots, Big House, Bad Girls, Bonebusters and Night Moves) as these games do have a bigger rom. Same for WillFA7 in case you want to use it with Defender or Star Light ( jic file available on request ). I created a multi-mpu board for GamePlan pinball machines. until battery acid parked it in the garage. Well, you can now get it back out.. This MPU board replaces the original, with some added features. There are 5 status LEDs.
